Roche hoop earrings pink opal
The Roche creoles are designed in such a way that they don't need a clasp. Just pull the creole through your ear and it holds on all by itself. If you thread it through the ear from behind, the opening is hidden behind the ear.
The Roche Creole with a round stone in the centre is inspired by planets and named after the inventor of the Roche boundary, Édouard Albert Roche. This describes the distance between two orbiting celestial bodies. The Roche Creole is exactly this distance, so that it can be threaded along the earlobe. The creole is twisted through the ear until the edge is reached and therefore does not need a clasp.
